Recipe for Success

I was struck again last week by how the most successful bookstores among my customers just buy the books they need to sell to their customers. There are no rules: "I don't buy books with marks." "I don’t buy remainders." "I don’t buy new books." "I don’t buy mass market." Etc. All week I sell to customers who look at a book and say, "I can sell this book to my customer at this price," and they buy it. End of story. It's a recipe for success.
